The market is situated amongst the streets and square between Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. It is so beautiful it really is a shopping experience not to be missed. There are more than 120 wooden chalets filling the streets with a wealth of stalls, each offering handmade and unique gifts, decorations and festive food produce. The market comes alive with street entertainment all with the backdrop of Baths wonderful Georgian architecture. Bath also has an ice rink during the Christmas period which is located in the centre of the city.
The Thermae Spa rooftop pool overlooks the Christmas lights and is well worth a visit if you need to ease your shopping legs!

Castle Combe Accommodation for the Steam Rally at The Keepers lodge
For Castle Combe accommodation during the Steam Rally on 21st & 22nd May the Keepers Lodge is a great place to stay with both B&B and self-catering accommodation available. The Garden Lodge is available, which sleeps four. It has two doubles en-suite (one room is a twin) plus sofa bed for two!
Castle Combe steam rally was founded in 1985. The rally is held at Castle Combe Racing Circuit in Wiltshire. The rally was originally held in a small area of the pits at the circuit, but over the years has grown to occupy not only the pits but a large part of the circuit itself and has become one of the largest steam rallies in Wiltshire.
Exhibits and attractions vary from rural crafts, models, fairground organs, fairground rides and stalls to sheep dog displays. The displays of vintage traction engines, both full size and miniature, classic and vintage cars, vintage motorcycles, vintage tractors, vintage commercial vehicles, vintage military and vintage stationary engines has grown immensely over the past few years to over 1,000 exhibits.

Badminton Horse Trials Accommodation
The Keepers Lodge is a great place to stay for the 2016 Badminton Horse trials. The Garden Lodge is available, which sleeps four. The Badminton Horse Trials is one of the toughest and most exciting equestrian events with numerous competitions throughout the week and a large shopping village can easily occupy the family for the several days.

Walking in Castle Combe
Castle Combe makes a wonderful place to visit for a peaceful holiday or break. The village is beautiful and there are many scenic walks on the doorstep and some fantastic places to stop and refuel along the way.
The short walk from The Keeper’s Lodge to the village takes you through some beautiful woodland and through the fantastic Castle Combe Golf Club.
Once in the village you can pick up the Macmillan Way which takes you either north towards Sherston and the Cotswolds, or you can head south towards Box following the beautiful Bybrook river valley through Ford.
